What’s better than a big hunk of Godiva chocolate?
How about a hot cup of Godiva coffee with a scoop of chocolate fudge brownie ice cream?!
Godiva coffee asked if I’d be interested in trying a couple of their latest seasonally flavored coffees, and then taking that coffee and making some sort of fall beverage out of it.
I live on coffee love a cup of coffee in the morning, and I also enjoy a cup or three of coffee in the evening with dessert after a dinner out.
Godiva sent me two different flavors: Pumpkin Spice and Caramel Pecan Bark. I don’t sweeten my coffee in the morning – I’m a “cream no sugar” girl. And I’m here to tell you, both flavors are absolutely delicious as straight up coffee (not too sweet at all), and the aroma that wafts from the coffee pot as it’s brewing is a phenomenal thing to wake up to in the morning. Hello fall!
So for a treat, I decided to to mix two of my favorite flavors – coffee and chocolate. Absolutely fabulous for a simple dessert to share with a couple friends!
Godiva Coffee & Chocolate Ice Cream Shooters
Ingredients
Godiva Caramel Pecan Bark Coffee, enough to brew 1 cup
Chocolate fudge brownie ice cream
Directions
Brew the coffee according to your desired strength. Pour the hot coffee into four shot glasses, and top with a spoonful of the ice cream.
Serve warm – the ice cream will start to melt as the shooter is being sipped, and the simple combination is creamy, sweet and decadent.
As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker Program, I received two bags of Godiva Coffee. All opinions are my own.
This sounds amazing!
@April And simple – which makes it even better! 🙂
