This sweet lime bread is a treat for breakfast or dessert!
After I mentioned a sweet lime bread my cousin made the other day, I had several requests for the recipe, which I was finally able to get from my cousin on Saturday!
I can’t imagine how it would be any better … unless, perhaps, you added a powdered sugar icing on top (á la Starbucks’ iced lemon pound cake)…
Yum!

Yummy! Have same recipe using lemon called Lemon Loaf from my Great Aunt…dated 1930s.
Thanks for sharing this!
Turns out, my cousin got this from my aunt’s recipe box. Could very well originally be from the ’30’s!
I have been making this exact recipe for years – it is so good – my husband’s favorite!
Teri – Love this! Thank you for stopping by to share!
