Maybe Top Chef wasn’t really the underdog for an Emmy win, but it felt that way to me when I watched them accept the Emmy for Best Reality TV Show last Sunday evening. With all the reality shows out there, in particular, seven time winner Amazing Race, food-based reality TV is still underground for the most part – especially the more serious competition shows like Top Chef. And, how wonderful that the season that won the Emmy is the season that featured two of Frederick’s finest chef brothers!
So, cheers to Top Chef! Here’s to another wonderful season, and hopefully another Emmy win for 2010!
