Those of you caught up in the peanut butter chatter on the
(a)Musing Foodie Facebook page may have thought the topic was over. Finis. Old news.
Nope!
I decided peanut butter deserved its own post, because I find myself often running around like crazy…starving, maybe even late for a meal. A lot. At the same time, I am sometimes lazy and don’t always feel like stopping to fix anything or unwrap a granola bar.
Enter peanut butter.
I know. Simple. Juvenile. But oh-so-good.
One heaping tablespoon full, and I’m set for another hour. Works perfectly if you’re too starving to make it until dinner’s ready!
Crunchy, smooth, organic, natural, naughty – doesn’t matter.
Simply grab a spoon, plunge into the jar, and enjoy a mound of peanut butter.
Think you’re too mature for this? Then you are missing out, my friend.
Have at it!
Words of sober truth. In our house, there have to be full size jars of both creamy and crunchy.
I am guilty as well…. love it!
I love it on rice cakes with mashed banana, nice little supper snack-et. Yum!
I’m allergic to chocolate, and if it wasn’t for the existence of peanut butter I’d be a lost, wandering soul of sadness.
My biggest treat is melting some creamy PB then drizzling it over super-cold vanilla ice cream. Oooooooohhhhh…..
I totally agree. I hope I never outgrow peanut butter.
So totally agree!!! The fresh ground natural kind is the best!!!!!
yep … hands down my favorite snack! Glad I can come out of the closet here and confess! 🙂
