Have you been keeping up with the Sandy Spring Friends School Community Farm blog?
Two new posts have been added since I first shared the SSFS Community Farm blog, and Josie and Shawn are moving full steam ahead with the farm project.
From a MLK Service Day volunteer opportunity, to understanding “cover crops,” you can use their blog to keep up with the work it takes to get a small farm up and running. I find it completely fascinating and appreciate the fact that I can live vicariously through the two of them, especially since I wouldn’t have the time, energy, wherewithal, or know-how to do any of it!

I’m sure the content is appropriate for use with children.
And that is what I learned. I will keep it as a guide.
