Do you remember when I used to post every single day on the blog, and I used to do fun things like have a
Food Challenge each month?
Well, I’m not promising daily posts at this point.
BUT, I am bringing back the Food Challenge because it was really, really fun for me and hopefully for you too! And because my neighbors recently asked about it, as in, “How’s the blog going? How come you never do things like your Food Challenge anymore?”
Okay, I get it. Never give up doing the things that people seem to enjoy. Seems obvious….
So, in honor of April being National Pecan Month, I’ve decided that they’re the perfect inspiration for my resurrected Food Challenge.
For those of you that weren’t reading back when I was doing a Food Challenge every month, here’s how it works:
I need your help in giving me ideas for recipes to make using the Food Challenge ingredient, so in this case – pecans.
Leave a comment with anything you’d like me to try and make, it can be sweet, savory, odd, everyday – whatever.
OR, leave me a comment with your Pinterest username, or your email address, and I’ll add you as a contributor to the Food Challenge: Pecan! {April 2012} Pinterest board, and you can repin your favorite pecan recipes there. Fun, right?
Then, this weekend I’ll compile a poll with the recipe ideas, and I’ll let you guys vote on which recipe I should make.
Sometimes the recipe will be in preparation for an event or a party.
And other times it won’t.
