It’s going to be hard to top the April Food Challenge winner in terms of crazy good recipes. Caramel cheesecake with a pecan crust? C’mon.
But I’d like to try in June.
And we have to do it with papaya, because June happens to be National Papaya Month.
I say “we” because the way my Food Challenge works these days is by way of Pinterest, and a whole entire pin board devoted to a month’s challenge.
So guess what? I’ve started a Food Challenge: Papaya! {June 2012} board on Pinterest, and I’ve even pinned a few recipes there already to get us started.
ANNNNNDDDD, you too can be a contributor. You just have to ask to be added, by either sending me a tweet {@aMusingFoodie}, or leaving a comment here, OR finding me over on Facebook, or I suppose you could email me. Whatever floats your boat!
But check first – I may have already added you as a pin board contributor. And that makes you lucky. Or I already know that you’re obsessed with Pinterest, and won’t be able to contain your pinning self when it comes to adding papaya recipes to my pin board.
The winner will be chosen by the papaya recipe pin with the most “likes” on June 30th, and I will be crafting the recipe in July!
Here are a couple of papaya recipes that I’ve already pinned – I can’t wait to see what you add!
Chicken Papaya Spring Rolls
I’d like to share some papaya recipes! And I’d like to share yours on my board
Hi Mary! I’ll add you as a contributor tonight. Great! 🙂
Those papaya rolls look amazing.
@Jen – don’t they?
I never thought the humble Papaya could be made into such stunning dishes. Even our corporate catering service would be more than happy to add items like that to the menu.
